Our Team
Heather Dalman
Heather “Lizzie” Dalman graduated from Melbourne University with Honours in physiotherapy in 1999.
She has worked as a physio in Ballarat and surrounds for over 20 years and is proud of empowering thousands of people to thrive after injuries, accidents, and ailments. “Lizzie” is devoted to maximising health and function for all ages and has a particularly special ability of making people of all shapes and sizes feel safe and comfortable. Her physio can be described these days as slightly “old school”, but her inner nerd is loving embracing innovative “new school” exercise rehab with this exciting venture. She was fully accredited in dry needling in 2010 and completed a LaTrobe Uni certificate in Strength and Conditioning in 2024. Physiotherapy is always evolving, and she thinks she has found the perfect balance for best practice, cutting edge physiotherapy at Ballarat Health in Motion. She passionately believes in patient-centred care, individualising treatments for maximal impact, and building the right team to deliver gold standard care for her patients.
Outside of work she fills her cup with loving her extended family, her dogs, fitness, being a “foodie”, embroidery, reading, travel and trying not to kill indoor plants.

Jarrod Parsons
Jarrod graduated from Federation University in 2017 with a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Exercise Physiology after returning to study after working in the industry for 6 years prior after completing his Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science in 2012. Since then, he has gained valuable experience working in both the public and private sectors.
Jarrod is passionate about empowering people to improve their quality of life and live life well. This includes regainingtheir ability to do the things they enjoy, while managing their ailments through focusing on individualised patient centred care to work towards their specific exercise/functional goals. He believes there is no greater pleasure than assisting someone to reach their full potential and is privileged to assist them in their journey to do so!
Jarrod believes that there are no two people the same, so he does not believe they should be treated the same as if they were. With over 7 years of experience as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, he has had the pleasure of working with many different people, with many different injuries, conditions or concerns. Over this time, he has completed many professional development courses targeting a range of Cardiopulmonary, Musculoskeletal & Neurological conditionsand how to best apply those to his practice.
Jarrod focuses on best practice approaches to patient centredcare, while continually adapting his profession to suit the most up to date research. This enables him to continue to grow his skillset and provide the best support he can for the person sitting in front of him. Jarrod actively practices the biopsychosocial model of healthcare where appropriate, as he believes the person in front of him should be treated as an individual and holistically, rather than labelled by their injury/condition and treated as such.
Outside of work Jarrod enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing basketball (and watching his son also play), collecting firewood, being outdoors and enjoying a coffee at a variety of local cafes.
